We are currently preparing a Development Control Plan (DCP) for the Mortdale Local Centre.

 A DCP provides a set of detailed guidelines that shape how new buildings and developments should look and feel in a specific area.

This is not just a technical document; it’s also a chance to reflect on what makes our community unique and what we want to see in the years ahead as new development occurs. What kind of spaces make a neighborhood feel welcoming? How can new development contribute positively to our streets, parks, and gathering places? What is it about the Mortdale Local Centre and its character that you love, and feel should be enhanced? These are the types of questions we want to explore together.
