About Hogben Park

Hogben Park is a local neighbourhood park in Kogarah. It has a playground, basketball court, table tennis table, open grass areas, seating, toilets, water refill stations and public art. The park is also known for its jacaranda trees.

What is a Landscape Master Plan?

A Landscape Master Plan provides a coordinated framework for the planning, design and delivery of open space, public domain and landscape elements to support the broader vision.

What is happening now?

We are starting the Landscape Master Plan process for Hogben Park. In this first stage, we want to understand how the community uses the park today and what you would like to see improved in future planning. Your feedback will help shape the priorities and direction of the draft Plan.

The new Master Plan will look at:

  • How to make the park safer, greener and more accessible

  • Ways to improve play, recreation and gathering areas

  • Whether a fenced off‑leash dog park should be considered

  • Investigate lighting options
