Tours of Council Chambers as an adjunct to library tour for new migrants
In some other countries, local government doesn’t exist or citizens don’t have opportunity to interact with government - there is a need to de-mystify local government’s role and ways in which residents may communicate with Council
Open days for new migrants but also longer term residents – facilitates transparency and makes Council a more welcoming place
