Outcome from previous feedback

Across September 2025, we asked our community about Woodville Park. This was the first step in creating a plan for the park's future. Community feedback highlighted that Woodville Park is locally loved space catering to multiple age groups. Park usage is frequent with most survey respondents indicating they visit daily or weekly.

Across December 2025 and January 2026, we ran a second round of consultation, sharing the draft Spatial Framework for community feedback. This feedback was reviewed and guided the final Spatial Framework, which was presented at the April Council Meeting. Council endorsed the Woodville Spatial Framework.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide feedback.

About Woodville Park

Woodville Park is located between Husdon St and Wright St in Hurstville. Opened in 1930, the name Woodville is believed to have come from the short-lived Woodville Ward.

The park opened with a children's playground, gardens and lawns, drinking bubblers and an octagonal concrete bandstand, known as a rotunda. The Hurstville Municipal Band was known to play in the rotunda in the summer months.
