Update - 21 May 2024

The concept designs for three Hurstville Precinct Playgrounds have now been finalised. This project continues to aim for the upgrade to the existing play spaces, identifying and capitalising on opportunities to maximise play outcomes which align to neighbourhood level category facilities.

Community feedback through the initial Your Say process, on the initial Woodville Park, Croot Park and Empress Reserve playground designs, has guided the finalised concept to ensure Council meets community desires and uses for these spaces.

The designs provide a cohesive vision focused on best practise approach to playground and inclusive design principals. These projects will now progress to the detailed design phase, prior to construction of these play spaces.

Council thanks the community for their feedback and looks forward to the progression of this project and the construction of new play facilities in the 2024/25 financial year.

The final Woodville Park, Croot Park and Empress Reserve playground concept designs can be found below.
