What is a Spatial Framework?
A Spatial Framework is a guide for the future planning and management of a public space. It helps Council understand how a park is used, what may need to change over time and what improvements could be considered.
Is this a final design?
No. This is the first step in the project. Council has not prepared a final design for Stuart Park. Feedback from this consultation will help prepare a draft Spatial Framework.
Does the framework include funding for upgrades?
No. A Spatial Framework does not provide funding for works. It helps Council identify future opportunities and priorities as facilities and infrastructure age or need renewal.
Will the park change straight away?
No immediate works are proposed as part of this consultation. The framework will help guide future planning and possible improvements over time.
