Thanks to everyone who viewed and provided feedback on the detailed design phase of the Riverwood HPAA project. Our team will review your submissions and return with the next steps and outcome.

Project Background and History

The Riverwood HPAA project aims to create a safer road environment for both vehicles and pedestrians through the installation of various traffic calming devices.

Council secured funding from Transport for NSW to deliver the construction of the Riverwood HPAA project within the 2024-2025 financial year.

In May 2024, we conducted a consultation to gather feedback on the draft concept designs for the Riverwood High Pedestrian Activity Area (HPAA) project. Thank you to everyone who took the time to review the designs and let us know what you thought.

The feedback has helped us reach the detailed design phase, and we invited our community to review these designs in a second round of consultation. The consultation was open between Monday September 23 to Friday October 18, 2024.

During this period, we asked community to review the updated designs and provide your feedback.

You can access the detailed designs by clicking the preview images below. You can also access them in list form using the documents tab on this page.

Upon completion of the Riverwood HPAA project, we will explore opportunities and conduct a detailed investigation into the implementation of additional short-term parking within the Riverwood Town Centre.
