Back in September, we invited our community to think about and provide feedback on concept designs for three off leash dog areas:

  • Hogben Park
  • Hurstville Park (adjacent to Hurstville Oval)
  • Merv Lynch Reserve

Thanks to everyone who provided their thoughts and feedback on the proposed dog park improvements. We received over 60 responses from our community across the three locations.

Based on your feedback, we are now presenting options for each of the parks.

Please review our plans and take our short surveys to let us know what you think so we can further refine and finalise our designs.

Background

We're investigating options for new off leash dog parks and we're calling on the community to help us with the early stages. Our local communities value our open spaces as great places to visit, unwind, and enjoy outside of our busy lives. For those with four-legged friends, it’s important that we also design spaces where dogs can roam, exercise and socialise.
