Draft Local Approvals Policy - Use of Public Land
Public Exhibition: Draft Local Approvals Policy
Council has endorsed the Draft Local Approvals Policy – Use of Public Land (Draft Policy) for the purpose of public exhibition for a minimum of 28 days.
Public land use policies can impact local residents, businesses, and community organisations. Consulting with the community allows the council to identify potential impacts to be considered during the policy development, thereby mitigating any unintended consequences.
Background

The Draft Policy aims to protect the public interest including the protection of the environment, public health and any items of cultural significance while allowing for diverse community activities.
