UPDATE: Kempt Field Inclusive Adventure Playground and Bike Training Circuit

Works have commenced for Phase One of a $6 million transformation of Kempt Field in Hurstville. The works involve the construction of a new inclusive adventure playground and children’s bike training circuit, as identified in the Kempt Field Masterplan.

The exciting new adventure playground will incorporate the following features:

• Double skyrider with accessible seat
• Multifaceted junior bike training circuit
• Inclusive adventure ropes course
• Sensory focused play zones
• Picnic shelters and BBQ units
• Shade sails
• Pathway linking pedestrian and cycle paths
• Lighting and landscaping (including new fencing on Durham Street and Roberts Lane)
• Water refill station
• Seats and litter station

It is anticipated that the playground works will be complete prior to the December 2019 school holidays.
