Together with our community and stakeholders, we are planning the future management of Riverwood Park. This page is where you can find out information and contribute to various feedback opportunities for development of the Riverwood Park Spatial Framework.
A spatial framework provides the physical and spatial aspects of the park, providing a visual understanding of its layout and components.
It will set a clear vision, alongside a series of actions, to help improve the quality of community amenity and create a more cohesive space.
Draft Riverwood Park Spatial Framework is now complete
Our team has completed the Riverwood Park Spatial Framework. It has been guided by the feedback received during the preliminary consultation and public exhibition of the draft Spatial Framework. You can view the complete Framework below, or by visiting our website.
Riverwood Park is a 19-hectare multipurpose facility at the north-western part of Riverwood. It is close to Salt Pan Creek and the neighbouring local government area of Canterbury Bankstown, who share portions of Salt Pan Creek Reserve and the adjoining wetlands and bush.

Across October to November 2024, we sought your feedback on how you use the park and what new features you think could be enjoyed in the space. In February 2025, we exhibited the draft Spatial Framework for public comment. Based on these two rounds of consultation, a final Spatial Framework was completed.
You can still contact our team regarding the project, quoting SF24/4418 and send to:
