Time Capsule Consultation

We are very excited to open our 7^th Early Learning Centre in 2020.

The Centre is scheduled to open in April 2020.

As part of the opening celebrations we will be burying a time capsule and we asked for your feedback to gather ideas. These ideas have been captured and put together below:

• A Walk in the Bush – Gwyn Perkins, 2020 Book week book for 2020

• April 2020 newspaper

• Photos of local area

• Ballet shoes

• Screenshots of social media posts from Oatley West pages

• Letters from local children about why they love Oatley

• Photographs of the site prior to opening as an Early Learning Centre

Thank you for all your valuable feedback on the surveys for Oatley West Early Learning Centre.We have received some fantastic suggestions for the time-capsule which we would like you to vote on in the near future.Please see the time-lapse video for progress on the building.

These results have helped us determine that the centre will operate until 6pm. The opening times will still be reviewed.

We will also be looking into including additional programs such as dancing lessons and music classes and ensuring we provide the following at Oatley West Early Learning Centre:

• Meals
• Community excursions
• Sheets

Your feedback has also guided our decisions around opening a centre with sustainable initiatives, a solid educational program and an interactive learning environment.
