Georges River Council is committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our community. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve, we are conducting a Venues and Facilities Service Review. This review aims to assess the effectiveness, accessibility, and sustainability of the venues we manage and offer for hire.

Objectives of the Venues and Facilities Service Review

  • Evaluate the current operation of our venues to ensure they are meeting community needs.

  • Assess customer satisfaction and experience, identifying opportunities to improve services and facilities.

  • Explore options for improving the sustainability of our venues and increasing their usage.

  • Identify potential upgrades or new facilities to better serve the growing needs of our community.

We’re seeking feedback on overall experience with our venues for hire, including ease of booking, access, and available facilities; the range of venues offered and whether they meet community needs; accessibility of the venues both in terms of infrastructure and location.

Consultation on the Venues and Facilities Service Review Survey will be open from 11 April to 12 May 2025.

We are particularly interested in:

  • How often you use our venues and for what types of activities.

  • Your experience with the booking process, customer service, and facility conditions.

  • Any barriers to using our venues and suggestions on how we can make them more accessible or user-friendly.

  • Your thoughts on any additional services or facility features you would like to see offered.
