Update

The Georges River Stormwater Management Policy was adopted by Council on 27 July 2020. A review of the Policy, including proposed amendments was reported to Council on 13 June 2023 for endorsement and public exhibition of the draft Policy.

The public exhibition of the draft policy was undertaken between 10 July and 7 August 2023 in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Strategy and additionally with locally active civil engineers. 15 submissions from the public were received in response to this exhibition. Amendments have been made to the draft Policy in response to public submissions.

Council adopted the amended Policy at its meeting on 18 December 2023 and will be effective once published on Council’s website.

Council, at its meeting on 26 June 2023 considered a report and resolved to exhibit the Draft Stormwater Management Policy for a minimum of 28 days. Public exhibition is from July 10 2023 - 7 August 2023.

Council, at its meeting on 16 December 2019 considered a report and resolved to exhibit the Draft Stormwater Management Policy for a minimum of 28 days. Public exhibition is from 1 February 2020 to 28 February 2020.
