Council at its meeting on 27 May 2019 endorsed a draft Keeping of Animals Policy to be placed on public exhibition for 28 days.

The draft Policy seeks to harmonise and review the former Kogarah and Hurstville Council's individual Keeping of Animals Policies into one comprehensive policy that reflects changes in industry standards for the keeping of animals, changing community expectations and increasing urban density, all of which impact on the keeping of animals.

Closing date for submissions:

Friday, 2 August 2019 at 4:30pm.
