Outcome
At its meeting held on 27 February 2023, Georges River Council resolved to adopt the addition of Animal Boarding & transport to the 2022/23 schedule of fees and charges.
The schedule is available on Council’s website.
Consultation
Council is seeking community feedback on its proposed amendment to the Fees & Charges for Animal Boarding and the introduction of fees to encompass Transport and any necessary Veterinary support required for the welfare of impounded animals. These amendments to the schedule of Fees and Charges reflect the current cost of providing an impounding service to the community and will enable Council to initiate cost recovery from the owner of an animal.
