Consultation has concluded
Georges River Council is seeking community feedback on a range of different public art projects planned for 2020-2021.
Public art is a key initiative for Council after adopting the Create Georges River Cultural Strategy in 2019 and the Public Art Policy in 2020. Public art elevates the visual profile of our places and provides insight into our cultural life and community values. Georges River Council aspires for public art to be an everyday experience that contributes to the vibrancy of the local area’s public spaces and landscapes for the enjoyment of residents and visitors.
To have your say on some of the key public art projects planned over the next few months, please use the feedback form below.
Projects include:
beautification of Post Office Lane, Kogarah
transforming Table Tennis tables into works of art throughout the LGA
beautification of the IGA wall on Greenacre Road, South Hurstville
continuation of the traffic signal boxes project throughout the LGA
The closing date for responses to reach Council is 31 October 2020.
