Background
We're excited to announce our participation in the Permit/Plug/Play Pilot program, an initiative led by Transport for NSW in partnership with 16 councils across the state. The program is designed to transform streets into thriving, community-centric places by simplifying the process of delivering street-based events.
About the Grant Program
Through the Permit/Plug/Play Pilot program, Georges River Council has been awarded a grant of $500,000 for “Streamlining Events held in Georges River: Enhancing Accessibility and Efficiency” to identify and streamline the processes for 3 key streets in the Local Government Area.
We need your feedback
As part of the funding process, it's important for us to hear from as many local businesses and event organisers to understand your opportunities and challenges, and improve our processes create more streamlined, accessible and efficient experiences for our partners, participants and community.
