Skate, Break and Build Event - Day One
Olds Park will come alive at night on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 August as our new skatepark plays host to two evenings of Olympic-inspired sportsmanship. Come along and discover a new passion or demo some slick moves and connect with an exciting community!
Come to this exciting event celebrating the Olympics, which will include a music, food, skateboarding and breakdancing demos, and art workshops. Join skateboarding and breakdancing coaching sessions with pros for your chance to win spot prizes.

These events aim to explore how public spaces near active and public transport options can be used to help enhance local amenity and foster a vibrant nighttime activation in the Georges River area. At the events, Georges River Council will seek community feedback on what day or night activities the community wants to see more of in our local area.
This evening will be a live broadcast of the Olympic Women’s Skate Park Prelims.

Community consultation and co-design workshops
Co-Design Workshops are collaborative sessions where different people actively participate in designing a product, service, or solution. It uses collective creativity to generate innovative ideas, solve problems, and create user-centered solutions through structured activities and discussions.
