In light of the Covid-19 global pandemic, the total shutdown in our cities allowed us the breathing space to reimagine a world post pandemic; what we want our town centres to look like and how we can make our spaces better, both from a social and economic perspective.
The Georges River Night-time Economy Study sets the scene of where we were at the beginning of 2020, pre-pandemic, and looks ahead aspirationally through a creative lens towards positive social transformation and economic growth.
We’ve set our sights on creating a vibrant night time culture across Georges River, and we’re calling on the community to share feedback on the opportunities and initiatives outlined in the Study and Action Plan.
