What are the trial opening hours?
Georges River Libraries will trial the following extended opening hours from
Monday 15 November 2021 to Monday 28 February 2022.
Clive James Kogarah Library
Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm
Saturday 10am – 4pm
Sunday 10am – 1pm
Clive James Council Service Centre Kogarah
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Saturday Closed
Sunday Closed
Hurstville Library
Monday to Friday 9am – 8pm
Saturday and Sunday 10am – 4pm
Oatley Library
Monday to Friday 11am – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 1pm
Penshurst Library
Monday to Friday 10am – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 1pm
South Hurstville Library
Monday to Friday 11am – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 1pm
Why are the hours changing?
The trial is in response to a survey conducted by Council last year through Your Say Georges River. In this survey the community were given the opportunity to provide what hours they preferred at each of our libraries. Visitor statistics were also gathered to ascertain which days and hours were most popular.
How can I provide feedback?
Yes. You can provide feedback through the survey at Your Say Georges River or email library@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au
I don’t have access to the Internet
Please ask library staff for a feedback form to fill out at any of the libraries.
Will the trial hours be permanent?
A review is being conducted throughout the trial period to determine permanent opening hours.
