Smartphone App

Georges River Council is launching a smartphone app in 2019 for people who live, work and play in Georges River.

Council’s mobile phone app will provide information responses most relevant to the users property address. It is the second phase of delivery of the My Services portal on Council’s website.

Users of the app will be able to:

• Request a service e.g. graffiti removal, reporting illegal dumping, sweeping and cleansing
• Find out about Council's waste collection services
• Find local news and events in your suburb
• View interactive maps of your suburb showing parks, pools, libraries and community facilities
• Find contact details for Council and your Ward Councillors

It will be a free app available in 2019 in the Apple App Store for iPhone and the Google Play store for Android.

Help shape the Georges River Council App! Become a tester

Council is conducting usability testing on Monday 14 January 2019.

We are looking for members of the community to test the Georges River Council app against real-world scenarios, ultimately assisting with the final development stages of the app.

Council would like up to 20 members of the community to attend a sessions of user acceptance testing:

• Monday 14 January 2019 - 2pm - 3pm, Georges River Council's Civic Centre in Hurstville

You input will help us to deliver quality experience for residents and visitors of the Georges River LGA.
