Casuarinas in Beverley Park
These native trees are also native to some of our Asian countries. They are part of the She Oaks family. They are also known as the Whistling Pine because of the noise made as wind moves through the trees. It has been introduced into some areas in the Caribbean as well. Some people don't like the beds of needles that have dropped from the trees but they are quite beautiful and are also home to the Black Cockatoo
