Background

The Claydon Reserve Bus Shelter public art project aims to improve the amenity of the site, reduce the incidence of graffiti and increase the public art offering within the local area.

Georges River Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from artists/teams of artists for the design, fabrication and /or installation of public art on the Bus Shelter at Claydon Reserve.

Selection criteria

Expressions of Interest in Stage 1 will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • Artistic excellence
  • Professional experience in public art and work/s
  • Creativity of design
  • Proposal’s connection to local community
  • Site specific design of the proposed concept.

Consultants/Artists are encouraged to review Create Georges River (Cultural Strategy), Georges River Council Art Policy and Georges River Community Strategic Plan documents prior to applying:
