Consultation has concluded

Update:

Thank you to everyone who participated in Georges River Council's COVID-19 Community Information Session. The webinar is now available to watch via our website: Georges River Council - Covid-19 (nsw.gov.au).

With tighter restrictions now in place across the Georges River Local Government Area (LGA), we want to reassure the community that Council, NSW Health, and NSW Police are there to support and direct you in these uncertain times.

At 1:00PM-1:30PM 30 July, Council would like to invite you to join in the discussion and have your concerns addressed in an online webinar. Representatives from South Eastern Sydney Local Health District and NSW Police will be there to answer your questions and provide you with up-to-date information on Health Orders and restrictions affecting the LGA.

We encourage you to listen in and participate. The online webinar will be available through Zoom.

We would also like to remind the community that information is regularly being updated through NSW Health and can be accessed here.

How To Join

The webinar has now concluded, but you can access a recording via our website at the link above or through the Useful Links panel.

Speakers:

Councillor Kevin Greene - Mayor, Georges River Council

Mr Tobi Wilson - Chief Executive, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District

Paul Callaghan - Chief Inspector, St George Police Area Command

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that although we understand this is a distressing time, rude or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and Council reserves the right to remove members should this behaviour occur.

What You Can Do Now

We're sure you already have a lot of questions. We've set up this space so you can let us know ahead of the webinar, and we'll endevour to have these answered during the session. Please use the ideas tool below to add your questions, comments, or concerns.

Your ideas can be submitted until 10:00AM 30 July, after which the results will be collated in preparation for the webinar. If you have further questions, we encourage you to participate in the webinar where a Q&A session will be held.

We are looking forward to connecting with you. Stay safe, stay local.
