Consultation has concluded

The Georges River Community Strategic Plan and other documents were considered by Council and endorsed and or adopted on 25 June 2018.

The community had further opportunity to give input into the future of our area prior to the Council consideration of these plans and programs.

All the engagement reports are available to read in the Document Library.

The consultation process identified six themes that are important to the community – we call these six pillars, as they underpin our future work. The six pillars are:

1. A protected environment and green open spaces

2. Quality, well planned development

The Community Strategic Plan is part of a suite of documents which include the Delivery Program, which outlines our key actions over the next three years, the Operational Plan , including budgets and proposed fees and charges for 2018/19 and the Resourcing Strategy. The Resourcing Strategy has three main parts – a workforce plan, an asset management plan and Council’s long-term financial plan.
